ICCHA means “WISH”.
The ICCHA/Wish Fund was established in 2007 at the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation in Kamloops. The goal of the ICCHA/Wish fund is to raise urgently needed equipment and services for Royal Inland Hospital.
100% of the proceeds go directly to equipment and services at Royal Inland Hospital. Since 2007, the ICCHA / Wish Fund has raised over $1.4 million dollars for projects at Royal Inland Hospital.
“When someone is sick in the hospital, we wish them well but that is not good enough, WE HAVE TO DO MORE! A wish for a healthy community can come true by businesses and individuals giving something back for the benefit of all who rely on Royal Inland Hospital." - Al Patel, Founder
The ICCHA/WISH Fund is proud to announce the opening of the new ICCHA/WISH Coronary Care Unit. This is the first step in reaching our ultimate dream of a Catheterization Lab for the Royal Inland Hospital (RIH).
The 2020 goal is to raise $300,000+ and provide RIH with a dedicated ECHOCARDIOGRAM that will improve upon the current wait times for non-invasive diagnosis at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC.
With approval of Interior Health Authority, more funding will be needed for:
2 C-ARMS for cardiologists to accurately perform life-saving procedures in emergent situations.
Establishing dedicated space at Royal Inland Hospital for a Catheterization Lab with onsite PCI capability by 2025 to diagnose and treat patients here in Kamloops.
These steps are the prerequisites to make the wish for our community come true - one step at a time.
Join us in our campaign to help reach our fundraising goal.
ANYONE CAN JOIN.
