ICCHA/WISH FUND WELCOMES YOU

"HAVE A HEART TO GIVE, FOR A HEART TO LIVE."

THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR DONORS

The ICCHA/WISH Fund is proud to announce the establishment of the ICCHA/WISH CORONARY CARE UNIT (CCU) at Royal Inland Hospital.

With your support, we raised over $300,000 for the purchase of a state-of-the-art 3D Echocardiogram diagnostic capability  to the CCU. This will enable accurate diagnostics at the patient's bedside and help institute therapies promptly.

Raising funds for urgently needed equipment for CCU is the foundation of our ultimate dream of a Catheterization Lab, which will enable coronary interventions and stent placement in patients with heart attacks at RIH.

ICCHA means “WISH”.

The ICCHA/Wish Fund was established in 2007 at the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation in Kamloops. The goal of the ICCHA/Wish fund is to raise urgently needed equipment and services for Royal Inland Hospital.

We are a volunteer-based fund, supported by the RIH Foundation. This means that your donated dollars go directly to equipment and services at Royal Inland Hospital. Since 2007, the ICCHA / Wish Fund has raised over $1.4 million dollars for projects at Royal Inland Hospital.

“When someone is sick in the hospital, we wish them well but that is not good enough, WE HAVE TO DO MORE! A wish for a healthy community can come true by businesses and individuals giving something back for the benefit of all who rely on Royal Inland Hospital." - Al Patel, Founder

Become a Hero of the Heart

Our Heroes of the Heart will also be acknowledged in the ICCHA/Wish "Our Community Giving Back" magazine which will be distributed to 30,000 homes  by Kamloops This Week.

All funds raised will go directly to improving cardiac care at ICCHA/WISH Coronary Cardiac Care at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops.

"Have a Heart to Give for a Heart to Live."

Watch the heartfelt stories of these incredible people who have suffered traumatic journeys just to receive basic cardiac care. We need more cardiac services in Kamloops so that when patients experience heart attacks, we can take care of our community.

A BIG thank you to Colin Lyons, Dan Bader and Brad Van Goor for sharing their heartfelt stories about their out-of-town journeys to receive basic cardiac care.
